This blog, “Damn Straight” and my blog aggregator, Oversampled have both been updated.
The changes made were mostly cosmetic, with special attention paid to the layout of Oversampled to distinguish it from Damn Straight, and to make it clear who has written what.
As always, readers can preview the first few lines of any post on Oversampled, [...]

Looks different, huh?
Yeah, if the site you are currently looking at has the standard WordPress blue heading and generic layout, it’s because my blog, “Answers from Abigail” and Oversampled.net are in the middle of an upgrade and overhaul.
I will be unveiling a new look soon.
In the meantime, I send my best wishes to you [...]

Today marks the beginning of National Poetry Month. In light of this, I am happy to share this untitled poem my dad wrote for me in 1985. I post it here with his permission.

If two cyber-linked queerspawn meet in real life and nobody snaps a picture of it, did it really happen?
Just to be on the safe side, here’s a shot of me with Nava Et-Shalom who was in Minneapolis for a very quick trip.
Nava’s reasons for coming to town had nothing to do with me, [...]

Here’s another COLAGE shirt. This one was from about 1997 or earlier.

Stefan Lynch posted an online diary (before they were called blogs) about a cross-country trip he took on a bike in 1997. One of his stops was Colorado Springs, where he checked out the headquarters of the very homo-hostile organization Focus on [...]

Among the items I donated to the Tretter Collection are some of my t-shirts. I posted earlier about the one I made in 1998 and the ones we had produced for a group of us.
As I pulled together my material for the archives, I found additional shirts that I thought would be better off [...]
