I will be signing copies of the paperback edition of Families Like Mine at a booth shared by The Loft, The Minneapolis Public Library, and Barnes & Noble.

Next month, Rosie O’Donnell and her partner Kelli will host another cruise for LGBT families.
The days will be jam-packed with entertainment and fun activities for kids, teens and adults. Included in the programming are presentations for parents about LGBT family issues.
I will give a reading on board, followed by a signing. [...]

I’ll be speaking tomorrow at Normandale Community College, 11:30a.m. in the McGraw Room (by the Cafeteria). This event is open to the public, and the bookstore will have paperback copies available for signing after my talk.

If you are attending the Rainbow Families Conference on Saturday:
I will be signing copies of Families Like Mine at a table in the Resource Fair area. Look for me there after the opening ceremony and during the lunch hour.

In collaboration with Family Pride Coalition, I recently gave two talks at Family Week in Provincetown, the annual gathering that brings together hundreds of families for fun, networking and bonding. My appearances were funded by a grant from the Loft Literary Center to help me reach key audiences for Families Like Mine.

On Tuesday, July 20th, 7:00pm, I’ll be at Query Booksellers, a gay-owned and operated bookstore in Northeast Minneapolis. After reading from the book, I’ll answer a few questions from the audience and then stick around to sign copies.
Being gay is not a requirement to patronizing this store…all straight allies are welcome and encouraged!

I am looking forward to reading from my book Families Like Mine at two major LGBT family gatherings this summer. If your family will be at either one, please check the event calendar to find out when I will be speaking and signing.
