Abigail,

My name is Gillian. I am a post-op transsexual woman and the proud parent of two girls. I thankful to have the Kids of Trans Resource Guide released. I wish it was available when I came out six years ago. My youngest was 13 at the time. She went through a period of ostracism at her Catholic grade school over my transition. I deeply regret this.

I met Monica two years ago at Southern Comfort in Atlanta. She is a wonderful young woman. We had a bit of time to share about my relationship with my daughters.

I read your book Families Like Mine. Keep up the good work!

...Queerspawn activist and author Abigail Garner also blogged about the KOT Resource Guide. I'm proud to share it with her, since she was one of the first people to encourage me to write the guide....
