Um, wow.
This does not warrant an article.
It is not news. It is a thinly veiled attempt for ferret lovers to get some attention by linking their issue to a high profile “current event.” It’s a waste of everybody’s time, not to mention an insult to LGBT people to somehow suggest that their struggle for equality is equivalent to the legality of domesticated rodents.
I would like to dismiss this attempt to get attention by saying, “nice try,” but media are actually taking the bait.
With this kind of quality reporting, get ready for other low-visibility issues exploiting hot-button issues just to grab some ink.
