I am thankful that I am old enough that this didn't happen to me with my mom and her partner. (my father is still a willing participant in my growing up) however I am saddened that she is so young should anything happen to one of her dads she would be sent to a foster home. I hope that our prejudice government can get over their bigotry and see that children should deserve a right to be raised by who ever can take care of them the best and has their best interests not whether they are straight or gay.
