Ten Money Questions
Queercents, a personal finance blog, has posted an interview with me about money, organizing, and access.
Here’s the first question:
Q: Typically, same-sex parents have to make a mindful and concerted effort in order to have a child. Often times, this requires spending thousands of dollars to get pregnant, adopt, or pay a surrogate. Does this investment make them better parents?
A: Nope. It makes them more anxious, financially-strapped parents.

(Thanks to James for being out about having lesbian parents and leaving a comment at Queercents. It was his comment that led Nina to look into the kids of queers community and subsequently contact me.)
