MBLGTACC 2007 in Minneapolis

A PSA for college students:

The GLBTA Programs Office and the Queer Student Cultural Center are pleased to announce that online registration for the 15th annual Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference (MBLGTACC), being held February 16-18, 2007, is now available.

The Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Ally College Conference, also known as Alphabet Soup 2007, will welcome 1500 attendees from all over the United States and Canada — the nation’s largest regional queer campus conference.

Keynote speakers include: Loren Cameron, author and photographer, Robyn Ochs, founder of the Bisexual Resource Network, and Faisal Alam, founder of Al-Fatiha. Margaret Cho, actress, comedienne, and GLBT rights advocate, will be entertaining conference attendees and community members Saturday evening, February 17th. During the conference, many breakout workshops will provide a safe and supportive forum for discussion around issues of interest to queer communities.

Alphabet Soup 2007 is looking for presenters to offer attendees a wide selection of workshops. Registration and workshop proposal applications are now available online.
