While researching documentaries about queer families I discovered one from 1983 called “If She Grows Up Gay.” Directed by Karen (Sloe) Goodman.
The description:
A blue collar African-American mother, talks about her pregnancy and raising her daughter with her lesbian lover.
Today, that baby is at least 24 years old.
