Nothing up my sleeve. Seriously.
This past week, I have received lots of kind words, both on the blog comments and beyond, about my transition announcement. Thank you, everybody for your support and understanding that it is time for me to move on.
Funny thing, though: the question keeps popping up about what I’m “really” going to be doing next.
It’s flattering that some of my supporters think I can knock on any door I want and instantly land an offer, but that’s not how it works.
When I say I don’t know yet, I really don’t know yet.
All I know is that I cannot confidently pursue finding the “next step” unless I announce to everyone — myself included — that I’m 100% committed to making that next step.
I’m not hiding a secret grand plan, to be unveiled in the near future. I am, plain and simple, job hunting.
