I'd rather be "Bible-thumping" than be spouting my own limited knowledge and God is not someone to be challenged with our finite minds. Btw, He is a good God and if we genuinely seek His ways and follow what Jesus taught, then we as Christians will also learn to show love towards all kinds of people without passing hurtful judgement.
