She just returned from performing on one of Rosie’s cruises, and has posted about meeting other people with gay parents:
At the last minute I was asked to participate in a panel of teens who were discussing their lives as children of Gay parents…It was an eye opener. Growing up, my Dad really protected me from snotty little comments made by people who’s heads were clearly up their asses, so I really don’t have any horror stories to tell.
But I was in tears listening to the panel tell about their nightmares. I’ve always been a champion of Gay rights but after this experience I’m planning on becoming their Norma Rae…
