I can think of nothing more frightening to young children than to see a smiling President speak out against the validity of their families and then have a room full of important looking people applauding him for for what he is saying!! It's amazing how much we hear the same messages over and over throughout the day if we automatically turn on the car radio and keep the radio on all day at work and home. Less background noise is good for children and adults. Let's all try a little bit of quiet time. I've discovered there are many more birds in my neighborhood than I thought there were. And the birds are politically neutral! Terrific idea!
