Reminder: Blog tomorrow for LGBT Families

Tomorrow is “Blogging for LGBT Families Day.” (Follow link for details about how to participate.)
This is a chance to connect with like-minded and fair-minded people, gain new readers for your blog, and — especially for queerspawn who don’t regularly blog about the families — be visible.
Allies are welcome and encouraged to join in.
Don’t know what to write about? A few suggestions:
-
Come out as someone who is in a queer family — in whatever way you define family.
Offer an anecdote about your queer family, or about one you know, to give people a window into what LGBT families are “like.”
Take a position on a policy that affects LGBT families, like opposing the Federal Marriage Amendment.
Raise awareness about homophobic adoption laws that prevent children in the foster care system from landing in safe loving homes with parents who happen to be gay.
UPDATE: I just visited Mombian.com to make sure I had the most current info about the blogging event, and indeed, there is a reminder post asking others to also post a reminder (”check”), along with eerily similar suggestions about what to write about. Thus continues the Mombian/DamnStraight mindmeld.
Your article is very informative and helped me further.
Thanks, David
