“Discredited antigay psychologist Paul Cameron publishes again”
Judith Stacey is a professor of sociology at New York University who has studied lesbian parents. She says it seems reasonable that parents would have a little bit of influence on their children’s sexual identity, but not to the extent Cameron suggests. Stacey calls his paper “garbage.” “It’s beyond ludicrous,” she said. “It’s baffling that this got published.”

UPDATE: A couple readers said I wasn’t explicit enough with this post. I linked it because the article at Advocate.com is only the second non-Christian Right coverage about Cameron’s article in the Journal of BioSocial Science (Dallas Voice was the first). I should also point out that it is the first news story I’m aware of that quotes my blog in lieu of speaking with me directly.
