Another Teen Out on Day Time Drama
First there was Simone on “Passions”. Then there was Lucas on “General Hospital.”
This time it’s Luke on “As the World Turns.”
Once again, GLAAD is collaborating with the network (CBS in this case) and airing a PSA after Tuesday’s show. Viewers will be directed to GLAAD’s website where there is a collection of links for more information. It’s nice to finally have a few gay characters in Harmony, Port Charles and Oakdale. If they can secure interesting story lines beyond stressing about coming out, even better.
Why do you suppose “luke” or some variation thereof is such a popular name for gay characters on soaps?
