Tracking the Cameron Media Ripple
How is the new article based on “analyzing” the sexual orientations of adult children in my book, another book, and an anthology, being reported and cited?
Aside from blog posts there are a few articles I can find online:
The Dakota Voice is South Dakota printed the press release word for word.
A publication in Maine called Magic City Morning star also published the press release.
In the gay media, David Webb of the Dallas Voice wrote an article, “Journal publishes Cameron”
Notify me as additional coverage happens, especially if you know of print publications that might not post everything on their website or you heard it referenced on a radio station.

just for kicks, I wrote a letter to the editor of the The Dakota Voice:
“Your article “Children of Homosexuals More Apt to Be Homosexual” quoted a study done by a rightwing thinktank. Taking a closer look at the methodology of that study shows that all the author did was look at several popular books that have stories about the children of gay parents, and use those stories as a sample.
“This is not a random sample - the books made no effort to pick people at random, and indeed are likely to include gay children of gay parents because it makes an interesting story. It is as if his research showed that 60% of people have super-human powers based on reading a selection of Marvel comics. “
