"Your article "Children of Homosexuals More Apt to Be Homosexual" quoted a study done by a rightwing thinktank. Taking a closer look at the methodology of that study shows that all the author did was look at several popular books that have stories about the children of gay parents, and use those stories as a sample. 

"This is not a random sample - the books made no effort to pick people at random, and indeed are likely to include gay children of gay parents because it makes an interesting story. It is as if his research showed that 60% of people have super-human powers based on reading a selection of Marvel comics. "</description>
