LGBT Lobby Day in Minnesota
Defeating the so-called Marriage Amendment in committee was just one part of the ever-vigilance necessary for a future of equality in Minnesota. I cannot stress how important it is to be seen at the State Capitol with other LGBT and fair-minded Minnesotans this Thursday.
If you have never gone before, it might feel intimidating, but don’t let that stop you from showing up. Your legislators don’t expect you to have the polish of a lobbyist. Just go, tell your story, meet your legislators and your fair-minded neighbors, and get an energizing reminder that you are not alone.
