Queerspawn events in Minneapolis / St. Paul
I still get phone calls and emails asking me to “represent COLAGE” or “inform the members of the chapter” about this or that. Which is why I need to include this disclaimer here before I post this. For the record: I officially stepped down from leading the COLAGE chapter in 2001. If you have questions about this event, please contact COLAGE directly.
And to confuse everybody some more, while I am not planning either event I do plan to attend both of them.

1. COLAGE Twin Cities Community Meeting
Do you have one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender parent? Do you want to meet other youth your age that have similar family backgrounds? Do you want to be part of a youth-led group that is by and for youth?
JOIN AS AT A COLAGE TWIN CITIES COMMUNITY MEETING
Then come to at community meeting for youth and adults interested in COLAGE Twin Cities. COLAGE is the only organization that specifically is for children, youth and adults with one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender parent/s. By getting involved with COLAGE you will meet a community of folks who also have LGBT parents, be able to share your experiences with people who “get it,” and gain leadership and activism skills to raise awareness about youth with LGBT parents.
At this meeting you will meet Meredith Fenton, the COLAGE national Program Director, share your ideas for what the Twin Cities need in terms of programming for folks with LGBT parents, start planning for a newly re-activated COLAGE Twin Cities, and enjoy some snacks and fun!
