Tell him his little sister sent you…
People often ask me how my brother “turned out,” as if there is something I am hiding because he’s not next to me at the podium, sharing my microphone.
The answer is simple. We have followed different career paths because we have different passions. I’m an activist, and that’s a (more than) full-time job. He’s a chef, and that’s a (more than) full-time job. You would not expect me to whip up something gourmet for you in the kitchen just because my brother is a chef, so why do people expect him to speak publicly just because his sister is a professional queer?
Here’s the latest review of my brother’s restaurant, the most detailed, comprehensive review on any restaurant on the planet, ever. If you are in or around the Hudson Valley area, visit my brother’s place, and satisfy your curiousity and your taste buds at the same time. His concoctions are – as my people like to say — “to die.” Fun meal options for kids, too.
Thanks _so_ much for posting that review of your brother’s
restaurant. Now I’m busy trying to figure out how to get there.
I especially recommend the pate, scallops with lobster sauce, the absolutely perfect creme brule…actually everything is very so very well prepared..I know because I have tasted almost everything. I am the chef’s mom and also Abigail’s mom! My buttons are bursting!
