Transgender families – often the least represented at anything LGBT –are becoming more visible with the increase of media that include them. Here are three recent documentaries exploring relationship dynamics for transgender people and their families:

“Transparent”
Nineteen female-to-male parents share their diverse views on reconciling maleness with biological motherhood.

Venus, the frontperson for a dark glam band, married his wife Lynette over 20 years ago. The documentary follows the couple’s relationship as much, if not more than, the story of the band.
