Non-bio Moms: Call for submissions
This was emailed to me by Harlyn Aizley, the editor of this book project:
Author Harlyn Aizley Buying Dad: One Woman’s Search for the Perfect Sperm Donor & Beacon Press are collecting essays for Confessions from the Other Mother: Nonbiological Lesbian Moms Tell All, a much-needed anthology by and about non-biological lesbian moms. The book is set for release on Mother’s Day 2006.
Harlyn and Beacon Press are looking for wry, funny, satirical, poignant, sad, joyous, serious, whatever voice it takes, parenting tales (light on the custody issue, heavy on the trials, tribulations, and joys of everyday life).
Thanks to the enormity of and response to this project, the deadline for submissions has been extended until July 15, 2005.
