Two Documentaries Seek LGBT Families
DOCUMENTARY ON 1970s CUSTODY BATTLES
Families needed for a documentary on the Lesbian Mothers National Defense Fund from 1974 to 1980. The LMNDF was the first organization to deal on a national level with the issue of lesbian custody battles. They provided legal, emotional and financial help to women going through custody cases. The filmmakers are looking for women and adult children who were in custody battles during that time period.

DOCUMENTARY ON TEENS OF LGBT PARENTS
Teens with Gay Families is an hour-long documentary that will follow the lives of three teens (ages 13-21) whose primary parents are LGBT. This show is one episode of a documentary series entitled Logo Lens set to air on Logo, the new gay-oriented network launching in February 2005. The creators are seeking young people who are going through something major in their lives and want to share their experience as it unfolds. Examples could include (but are not limited to): someone whose mom or dad is moving in with a partner for the first time; someone whose gay parents are getting married; a foster teen about to be placed with gay parents.
