While I have mixed feelings about same-sex marriages ("blessed" by the church), I don't see any problem with a "marriage" between two people (no matter what their sexes). Bush and his people would probably be less critical (but maybe not supportive) of a union that was not done in the church and not called "marriage"; but that diminishes the bond. A difficult subject. btw, if you wonder why I am interested; I am a transvestite (or cross-dresser) of some forty-five years. I'm not sure if I am "gay" or not, but it's possible.
